The Bump to Baby Selections pack is filled with samples of products that will help you prepare for your baby’s arrival. Emma’s Diary have put together a pack that includes relevant samples for this stage of your journey, along with some information that will help you to decide which products and brands are best for you.
This is the second pack to collect from the three, the first being the Mum To Be Selections pack and the third the New Family Selections pack. You can collect this one from your 27th week. Here’s a little overview of what you can expect.
What Do You Get?
The bag is filled with a variety of sample sized products for mum and baby, along with a few leaflets. I know you can pick these up from different stores, I got both of mine from Boots, so I’m not sure whether or not the contents vary depending on where you pick them up.
They may also update them from time to time, but this will give you a rough idea of what you can expect to get in your bag.
Here’s what’s in mine:
- • 2 x Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags
- • 2 x Lansinoh Ultra Thin Stay Dry Nursing Pads
- • 1 x 50ml sachet of Fairy Fabric Softener
- • 1 x Fairy Non Bio Pod (Liquid Tablet)
- • 1 x 15g tub of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Tummy Butter
- • 1 x 15g tube of Metanium Everyday Barrier Ointment
- • 1 x Pampers New Born 2 – 5 kg nappy
You also got some leaflets, some including discount codes or offers, and others that provide you with some extra tips for your pregnancy and after.
Is It Worth Getting?
Seeing as it’s free, I say yes!
Sure, you get sample sizes, so it’s not like these things are going to last you very long, but they’re the perfect size to stick in your hospital bag or to take with you on trips once the baby arrives. My mother in law says you can never have too many tiny pots of Sudocrem, so I’m sure a small tube of Metanium Ointment will come in handy.
Since this is our first baby, I like the idea of getting to try different products to find the things we like. It also reminded me that we will have to think about which type of washing powder to buy to make sure it’s suitable for sensitive skin.
This pack contained more items than the Mum to Be pack, so I recommend getting both.
And, seriously, free stuff – yay!
How Do You Get It?
It’s actually really simple, all you have to do is sign up on the website and from there you get sent vouchers that you can print off and take to the nearest participating store. Currently, Emma’s Diary is working with Boots and Argos, but I think this may have differed in the past, so it could change in the future. Once you get to the store, simply hand it in and you’ll get your free pack – enjoy!
Did you pick up your free pack? What did you think of it?
